Zondra is the principal of Harriet Tubman Charter School. She is a founding staff member at Harriet Tubman Charter School. She began her teaching career in 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia. In the Fall of 2009, Zondra returned to her native New Orleans where she continued her career in education as a first-grade teacher In 2009-2010, she was selected as a Teacher of the Year.
Inspired by the opportunity to learn and grow in the craft of teaching, Zondra began her work at Tubman as a second-grade teacher. She has since taught third grade, K-8th-grade drama, served as Director of Enrichment, and 3rd-8th Assistant Principal. In 2020, Zondra transitioned into the role of School Principal.
Zondra received a B.A. in English from Louisiana State University. She completed the Urban Accelerated Certification Program at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Zondra received her master’s degree from Relay Graduate School of Education in 2015. In 2019 she completed the Relay Graduate School National Principal Fellowship.
